Q: What is a Mind Reader? A: A Mind Reader works in much the same way as a magician but instead of using tricks or props they use your thoughts. They might ask you to think of a random word or draw a secret picture or think of an old school friend. The Mind Reader will tell you what you're thinking of.
Q: Are you like a psychic or hypnotist? Do you reveal secrets? A: No, not at all. My performances are all based around intuition, psychology, magic techniques, influence, persuasion and lots of good humour. I don't reveal any secrets or anything that would compromise anyone.
Q: How do you perform at a party or wedding? A: Much like a magician I would wander amongst your guests performing to small groups. That could be in a standing situation or with guests sat at tables. It's highly engaging and extremely entertaining.
Q: Can you perform to a large group at an event? A: Yes, absolutely. I quite often end my mix and mingle bookings with a 'finale' piece for the whole group. It's a great way to leave everyone on a high note.
Q: Are your shows suitable for children? A: While my material is preferably aimed at adults its a 'clean and safe' show, which is suitable for all ages.
Q: How much do you charge to perform? A: My fees are based on the type of event and the lenth of performance. As my options are so varied it's best to receive a tailored quote for your specific event.
Q: What am I thinking right now? A: Book me and I'll tell you! :-)
Q: Are your shows all the same? If we were to re-book tickets for your show? A: In a nutshell - YES - but as I always say, the audience makes the show and they are different every time.
Q: Can you teach people to read minds? A: It's not something I offer but I do have a training course that teaches Body Language, Lie Detection, Influence and Persuasion techniques. Feel free to enquire via email.
